Our Story

The Night Before

4:45pm Attire: CausalLight drinks and dinner with us the night before.

Wedding Day 

Ceremony

4:45pm Attire: Cocktail (please see Dress Code tab)Please arrive at 4:30pm to ensure time for parking and finding your seat. We will begin promptly at 4:45pm.

Cocktail Hour

5:00pm - 6:15pm Drinks and appetizers will be available during this time. There will be tables and heaters with lawn games outside so the remaining of the sunset can be enjoyed.

Pre-Dinner Activities

6:15-6:30pm Make sure to be in your seat so that the during this time so that Pat and I can enter and go into our first dance. We will also be doing the other dances, cake cutting, and speeches during this time block so the rest of the night is for partying.

Dinner

6:30-7:30pm Dinner will be a mix of family style and buffet BBQ. There will be various sides and meat options. Let us know if we can accommodate any dietary needs.

Dance Floor

7:30-10:30pm The rest of the night is for dancing and enjoying yourself. We would love if you join us on the dance floor, but lawn games and a fire pit with smores will also be available.

Timeline of Events

We will be celebrating with a cocktail backyard wedding under a tent. We would love for you to wear warm, earthy, muted colors that fit the setting, like rusts, creams, olives, browns, and similar tones. We request that you do not wear blues or overly bright colors. Floral patterns or different textures are welcomed.Please dress up a bit (no jeans or t-shirts), but keep comfort and warmth in mind for our outdoor evening. Ties and tuxes are not required. For women, below the knee dresses are encouraged. Inspiration is shown below!

Address of Welcome Party and Wedding 226 County Route 115 (aka Browntown Road), Cochecton, NY 12726 Travel/Lodging: Hotels nearby are sketchy at best. Airbnb/VRBOs are highly recommended. I will attach a link to several nearby Airbnbs. We suggest going in with other people to get a large house with lots of bedrooms. There are several included in the list. We have reserved a few Airbnbs to ensure there were plenty to go around. Text us before you book one to see if we have any left (845) 720- 0004. I suggest downloading the maps on your phone so that you do not need to worry about any service issues while traveling from place to place.

Food/Grocery: There is a nearby Dollar General, Petes Market, Peck’s Market and Quick Mart. Pat HIGHLY recommends a Sausage, Egg, and Cheese from Pecks Market. Things To Do Narrowsburg and Cochecton are very cute nearby towns for coffee, food, and light shopping. Also, if you want to visit the grounds and museum of the original location of Woodstock (Bethel Woods), it is only a few miles away.
